It was her Uncle Andy who discovered little barefoot Millie the following morning, some distance from home, asleep with Dasher, one of the farm dogs. The little girl was safe and well and was quoted in the report as saying, “I wasn’t lost. I was with Dasher.” A remarkable true story. And the song was just waiting to be written!”
